Deep Dive: AI Drop-ins In-Person
This is NOT another AI Roundtable! In fact, the tables will be square. Join us for an innovative, faculty-centered exploration of artificial intelligence in higher education. Unlike traditional workshops, this drop-in format is designed around your specific questions, challenges, and curiosities about AI.
How it works: Come and go as your schedule allows during our two-hour window. Whether you have 20 minutes between classes or can stay for the full session, you'll find targeted support for your AI-related interests. This collaborative format allows for deeper, more personalized discussions than traditional workshop Q&As.
What to expect:
- Hands-on exploration of AI tools relevant to your discipline
- Discussion of pedagogical applications and ethical considerations
- Troubleshooting specific AI challenges you're facing
- Sharing of best practices
- Resources tailored to your teaching and research needs
Help us prepare: To ensure we can provide the most valuable support, please let us know in advance what AI topics, tools, or challenges you'd like to explore. This might include specific platforms you're curious about, pedagogical questions, research applications, or concerns about academic integrity.
Who should attend: Faculty at any level of AI familiarity—from complete beginners to those already experimenting with AI tools. All disciplines welcome.
Registration is preferred, but NOT required.
Please share your AI questions/topics of interest by Friday, October 31 so we can prepare relevant resources and examples.
