2nd Year Faculty Luncheon In-Person

Our 2nd-year faculty (who began their full-time positions at Xavier during the 2024-2025 academic year) are invited to join their colleagues for an informal lunch designed to provide an opportunity to reconnect with their cohort.

During this gathering, we'll discuss the challenges and benefits of advising and mentoring at Xavier. We will be joined by Dr. Nathaniel Holmes, Assistant Provost for Student Success, who will discuss how EAB and DegreeWorks can assist in your advising, and Dr. Michael Adams, Professor of Chemistry, who will discuss important policies to consider. You'll also have the chance to share experiences, challenges, and successes with colleagues who understand the unique aspects of being in your second year at Xavier.

This is one of two lunches planned for your cohort this academic year, designed to maintain the supportive community you built during last year's monthly New Faculty Brown Bags while providing guidance for and reflection on this important stage of your faculty journey.

Lunch will be provided. Please register by Tuesday, September 16, to ensure your spot! This event is for second-year faculty only.
