Spanning the Memory Gap In-Person
Do you find students have trouble retaining course content from one semester to the next? We can help our students change the way they learn by changing the way we assess that learning. By focusing the semester of repeated, low-stakes formative assessments, we can make our jobs and our students' jobs easier. At this workshop, you will learn how these low-stakes, formative assessments work and how you can restructure your course to help your students learn better with them.
This workshop is being offered in a hybrid format, meaning you can attend either in person or via Zoom. When you register for the workshop, you will be asked to identify how plan to attend. However, we understand that plans change, so on the day of the event, please attend in whatever manner works best for you. After registering, you will receive an email with the Zoom link for attending online.
